2.As an alternate I would suggest getting off a Sea World Drive, going down to Midway (towards the ocean), turning left on to Midway, over the canal, then a another left onto Sports Arena Blvd. The traffic going in was terrible with cars backing up on to the 5 Freeway. I'm from Riverside County and we don't have any such rules. I wonder if this is a 'San Diego' thing because I recently went to a ball game and they only let people in if they had a clear purse or zip lock bag. I stood in line to get in and didn't find out until almost making it all the way up to the door, where a security guy made the announcement to those standing on the steps. I wonder how they can do a better job of informing people ahead of time of this rule. The venue does not allow women to bring purses inside and this caused a huge issue with more than one lady who had to walk back (all the way back, depending on where she was parked) to the car. They have jumbo trons up high so you can see up close in case you are in the high rise seats.

The entertainer can present to any direction he likes which is good. The stage is in the center of the floor and just a square-shaped upraised setup. Comedy night here with DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, George Lopez, and Eddie Griffin was pretty good.
